Stereo recordings of my back yard made with a zoom handy recorder. These are a capsule of an environment, best listened to with headphones. They may be a bit quiet, I might reupload them after performing a bit of amplification and compression.

They are also a time capsule of my environment while I was making and archiving the other work here. I observed the birds, squirrels, neighborhood cats, airplanes, and construction closely sitting in a tall metal and leather chair I found on Broadway and 44th street.

For 3 weeks in February, by about 11:30am, the sun had warmed the chair to the perfect temperature. In March I went to my grandmother's home in Nevada with a backpack and a tote bag's worth of instruments to record most of the tapes that paint the walls of these rooms here. By May the sun patch was long gone.

An eerie phenomenon of the tight lots where your window looks into your neighbor's kitchen but you never see their faces. The light phases are a thumping rhythm.
