Paulstretching has been an enduring fascination and uncovers magic in every sound it processes. A secret to sounds

8-10 refer outward and look beyond as I leave the birds of Oakland for the cacophony of Los Angeles. Parrots and garbled Elvis creeping through the hedges. Alone with synthesizers no longer I bring a guitar and a strange computer, looking up instead of down. Smiling!

11 was the beginning of the end of a long cycle for these tapes. A 4 track for a sister magician set all of the sleepwalking work that came before it into focus and I realized it all was a this.

12 is silence.
